POSTCOMER at the at the 2025 Memory Studies Association conference in Prague

From July 14 to 18, 2025, the ninth annual Memory Studies Association (MSA) conference “Beyond Crises: Resilience and (In)Stability” took place in Prague, Czech Republic. 

The conference, titled Beyond Crises: Resilience and (In)Stability.

Members and scholars from our research group took part in the Conference. 

Dr. Francesco Trupia's presentation  (“What’s my name now?” Post-memory generations after the “Revival Process”) discusses a web of post-memories and family-related traumas verbalised by young Muslims of Turkish and Roma origin in Bulgaria, Belgium, and Germany about the “Revival Process” – namely, the assimilation campaign and mass expulsion orchestrated by the Bulgarian Communist Party between 1984 and 1989.
